Conventions of a contents page


Contents page Conventions

The Contents page says what is going to be in a magazine.
It shows a summary of the articles of what is going to be in the magazine.
The word 'Contents' is normally shown on the contents page.
The masthead and contact details are normally shown on the contents page.
There are always page numbers.
There will most likely be a main image and other smaller photos.
The heading of the article is normally shown to stand out to catch the readers attention.
There is normally a block of text of some sort explaining a particular article.
There is most likely a blurb will be located at the bottom.
